Compassion Brothers

Since returning from Mexico, we spoke with our 5 year old son about having his own Compassion Brother.  He was thrilled with the idea so, we found a 5 year old boy in Mexico to be his Compassion Brother.

Compassion offered a free Bible with the sponsorship so I asked if we could have it sent for our son.  They had it shipped and in no time it was in our sons' hands.

His older brother got a new Bible for his 8th birthday and we had his name engraved on it and he wanted a Bible cover so of course the 5 year old wanted the same!

DH took him down and they got his name engraved on the Bible and he picked out his own Bible cover to go with it.  Talk about a thrilled little boy!

He has already sent a letter to his Compassion Brother and it's just so exciting to see his love for Jesus shine through his love for others.

Not only is there a YCEW team in Haiti right now, but a Compassion team; as well.  Needless to say, I am praying for our missionaries in Haiti!  You can read on my new favorite blog about their Haiti experiences from the field!
